Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)for admission to Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments Courses every year.
Joint Entrance Examination Main is conducted by National Testing Agency twice in year for admission to NIT, IIIT, GFTI and many private and deemed university across the India.

Eligibility

  • Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2022, are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2022.
  • Candidates who passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2019 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2023 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2022

Exam Pattern:

Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10.

Marking System

  • Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
  • For each incorrect answer, 01(one) mark will be deducted from the total score.

Duration

  • The duration of test would be three 03 hours (180 Minutes).

Test Centre

  • All Districts in Maharashtra.

Exam Mode

  • JEE (Main) is Computer Based Test (CBT)test

Application Fees

  • Application fee: Rs 650/- (General, EWS, OBC), 325/- (SC, ST, PWD)

Question Paper Medium

  • English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.
